Bell times

At Hurstville Grove Infants School, our day begins with opportunities for play, connection and belonging. Supervision commences at 8:45 am, when students are welcomed by our friendly staff and enjoy social and developmental play in the playground or HUB before formal learning begins at 9:15 am.

Throughout the day, music signals transitions between learning sessions and breaks, helping our students develop independence and confidence with daily routines.

Regular attendance and arriving at school on time are important for your child's learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. Even a few minutes of missed learning each day can add up over time. At Hurstville Grove Infants School, we encourage families to prioritise attendance and punctuality to help every child make the most of their school day, build strong learning foundations and stay connected with their friends and teachers.
