- Meeting new teachers and making new friends
- Building greater independence and responsibility for learning and daily routines
- Developing new skills and extending their learning across the curriculum
- Participating in new extracurricular activities, sporting opportunities and school events
While moving to a new school is a big step, we are committed to helping every child feel confident, supported and ready for their next adventure.
Before your child starts Year 3
As Hurstville Grove Infants School caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 2, families will need to enrol their child at another primary school for Year 3.
We encourage families to explore their local primary schools, attend school tours and information sessions, and contact their chosen school to learn more about enrolment procedures and transition arrangements.
Our team is always happy to support families with questions about the transition to Year 3.
